Real estate - more specifically "homeownership" - holds a special place in my heart and my history. The early years of my childhood was spent in McLean, Virginia in a home built by my grandfather that was situated on a cul de sac named after my grandmother.  My grandfather was a land developer and a home builder whose talent and passion were instrumental in enriching the lives of many families with the American dream of homeownership. Recognizing the role that the home plays in so many areas of your life and its impact on your family today, as well as future generations, it becomes a natural part of the financial planning conversation.
